This error is not caused by Nero . The file names have already been taken over wrongly from the Linux partition to the FAT32 partitions.
The file system extension Joliet does not allow more than 63 characters for a file name. Therefore, with Nero , a file name of more that 63 characters can not be burned.
If you are using Windows 95, then you should download the following update and install it:
http://support.microsoft.com/download/support/mslfiles/Remideup.exe
Through the installation of one of these two programs the Default-Font which is supposed to depict the Chinese characters is exchanged . The new Default-Font can only depict the Japanese characters.
Solution: Update Nero to 4.0.3.5 or newer. In File->Preferences->Language->Choose Font ... Please select a set of characters which can handle the script ChineseBig5.

This error can occur in the early Nero 4.0 versions as is was at this point in time that the size of the parameter file for CD-ROM drives became larger than 64KB. This problem has been solved as of Nero 4.0.1.3.
Please update to a newer Nero version
Please update to the most up-to-date firmware of your CD burner.
The article should particularly be read if access to the devices which are attached to an Adaptec AIC78xx controller is comparatively slow. The solution for this is to upgrade to SP4 or to a later SP.

At several points you are recommended to deinstall the VIA busmaster driver. Unfortunately Windows 98 has a bug concerning the deinstallation of the driver so that it shows that the VIA busmaster driver is still installed, even if this is no longer the case.

If your burner is in the first group, then it helps to update the Firmware.
