Problems with the boot menu.

As a general rule there are no problems with the boot menu.

  1. Boot and select Nero in the boot menu and use it to start.

Now in exactly these files which appear with the ending .NBK and .VXD/.MPD/.DLL, remove the files which do not have the ending .NBK. Exception: If there is a file called NEROCD95.VXD and NEROCD95.NBK, then please delete the file NEROCD95.NBK.
  5. Change into the directory Windows\System
  6. Carry out the procedure given in position 4 in this directory as well.

  1. Please check if there are still a C:\CONFIG.NBK and a C:\AUTOEXEC.NBK in the C:\ directory. If yes, please rename these two files to C:\CONFIG.SYS and to C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT respectively. You can now continue with no.5.
